Pipsico Scout Reservation
I went out to the Pipsico Scout Reservation to get some stock photographs for the council to use in promoting their summer camps. I ended up picking one of the hottest days of the year to go out there but it was well worth it.
This is the Pipsico Tree, as you can see it is amazingly large, the legend is that Chief Powhatan is buried there.
Here a Camper is practicing how to throw a life ring while working on his Lifesaving Merit Badge.
These campers are excavating at the site of an old Plantation House on the Reservation. This is part of the Archeology Merit Badge.
This Staff member is helping some Campers with their Leather Working Merit Badge projects.
The camp is located on the southern shore of the James River, this Camper is Canoeing in the river.
