Joe S. Woodworker | Portsmouth, Personal

I met with Joe to discuss a project and brought my camera for some test shots. As we were talking about the wooden spoons he makes, he said he would make one for me. So as we talked he worked on carving a wooden spoon, almost entirely by hand. Here are some of my shots from that night.

Joe with the finished Product.

This was a really cool, old drill press.

The Only time a machine was used was to cut out the overall shape.

They can't all be serious.

Joey 4 Year Mini Session | Chesapeake Child Photography

I love getting to capture children as they are growing up and Joey has grown so much in the last year. He is such a sweet kid, when he saw me coming up the trail he ran up to me and gave me big hug! It was great seeing him and his family again.

Here he is running up to great me.

Justin & Kristin Engagement | Suffolk Enagagement Photography

When Justin and Kristen asked me to do their engagement pictures I was honored. I have known him most of my life and I wanted to keep with my current theme of pushing myself creatively. I was disappointed to hear that his 1960 Mercury Comet was in the shop getting spruced up for their wedding this fall so using it the shoot was out. We decided to meet at lake Cahoon and Justin would bring his John Boat to use for some of the pictures and he would have his RAM pickup that he baby's almost as much as the Comet.

We had a great time and I was able to capture some amazing pictures of them.
