Spooky Acres is a Haunted House that my wife and I have volunteered at for many years. It used to be in an actual haunted house in the Chuckatuck sections of Suffolk, VA. Once the house wasn't structurally sound enough for us to use it we moved to Chesapeake Square Mall. This was the 17th year for Spooky Acres. Paige and Darren run the house and put a lot of time and effort into getting it setup and running it every year.
This is a labor of love for them, all of the proceeds from the house are donated to charity, "it give the kids that are to old to trick or treat something to do and keep them out of trouble" says Paige.
Here are some images to give you an idea of what's in store as you walk through the haunted house.
I also setup in one of the rooms to get customer's reactions.
